A Troy Manufacturer has 1st shift, Brake Press Operator positions open @ $17.00 per hour. Operator will bend, cut, and form sheet metal to a work order specification. MFG prefers Brake Press Operators who have previous experience and a solid work history.

Duties to include:

• Set up & Operate Brake Press to create part(s) to specifications.
• Complete CNC set-up of Brake Press Machine, including changing tools.
• Interpreting blueprints and engineering plans.
• Selecting, positioning, and aligning dies.
• Positioning of machine parts as needed.
• Observe operations to detect malfunctions.
• Inspect finished parts to specification.
• Adhering to all company safety procedures, i.e. Lock-Out Tag-Out, Use of PPE, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A Home Phone or Cell.
• A Valid Driver’s License.
• Your Own Transportation.
• A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction.
• Able to Pass a 10 Panel, Employment Drug Screen, Urinalysis or Saliva.
• A Solid Work History.
• Ability to Read Blueprints.
• Use of common tools, i.e. calipers, height gauges, protractors, etc.
• Willing to Work Overtime.
• Good Attendance is a MUST.
• Previous CNC Experience is a PLUS.
• 1 year of Previous Brake Press Experience is Preferred.
