CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description:
Troy Manufacturer has a 2nd Shift, CNC Lathe Machinist position @ $18 per hour, based on experience. Hours: 3:30 PM to 12 AM.

 

Duties to include:
♦ Interpret Blue Prints & drawings for dimensions used in production of products.
♦ Interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
♦ Production of machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a numerical control (CNC)machine.
♦ Report machine malfunctions & material discrepensies to a supervisor.
♦ Maintaining a Production Log.
♦ Maintaining all equipment and tools.
♦ Adhering to company Quality & Safety Standards.
♦ Daily inspection and use of PPE.

Requirements:
✓ High School Diploma or GED
✓ A Home Phone or Cell
✓ A Valid Driver’s License
✓ Your Own Transportation
✓ A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction
✓ Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen
✓ A Solid Work History
✓ Ability to Read Blue Prints
✓ Use of common tools, i.e. calipers, height gauges, protractors, etc.
✓ Willing to Work Overtime
✓ Good Attendance is a MUST
✓ 2 Years of Previous CNC Experience and/or CNC Certification Required
✓ 2 year Previous MFG Experience is Required
Salary: $13.50-$16 per hour + Benefits
